                            ORDINANCE NO.   10165  
                 
                 
                 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE, 
                 PART II, SECTION 5-75, TO CREATE A NEW 
                 SUBSECTION (G) RELATIVE TO "TEEN SOCIAL 
                 CLUBS".

       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that Part II, Chattanooga City Code, 
       Section 5-75, be and the same is hereby amended to create a new 
       subsection (g) as follows:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  That Section 5-75 of the Chattanooga City 
       Code is amended to include a new Subsection (g) which shall read 
       as follows:
            (g)	 No permit required by this division shall be issued 
                 to any applicant whose business operation is 
                 located less than five hundred (500) feet away from 
                 the nearest property line of any business 
                 establishment licensed as a "teen social club" 
                 pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 11, Article 
                 XV of the Chattanooga City Code.
            	 
       	    	 SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this Ordinance 
       shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as 
       required by law.
